Bhopal. Branch Office of the Bureau of Indian Standards, has conducted a two days training programme for the mentors of the Standards Club, at RCPV Noronha Academy of Administration , Bhopal on 29 & 30 June 2022.
Shri Somit Shrivastava, Deputy Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Bhopal, has inaugurated the programme and addressed the participants.
In the inaugural session the participants were addressed by Smt. Sonali Ponkshe Vayangankar, IAS, Director, RC PV Noronha Academy of Administration, Bhopal and briefed about various activities of the Academy of Adminstration, Bhopal, with special emphasis on the trainings imparted by them.
Shri Partha Sarathi Mandal, Scientist E, Director & Head of BIS, Bhopal, also addressed the participants of the training programme. He briefed about the various activities of BIS, in the State of Madhya Pradesh. Shri Partha Sarathi, detailed about the purpose of creation of Standards Clubs and the assistance given by BIS to these Standards Club to spread the awareness.
Shri Raman Kumar Trivedi, Scientist C &Deputy Director and Shri Vipin Bhaskar, Sc.C & Deputy Director, BIS, Bhopal, have also educated the participants of the training programme.
The participants of the programme were from mostly Kendriya Vidyalas, of Madhya Pradesh. The programme was well received by the participants.
