Chouhan said that Swami Vivekananda represented a rare blend of brilliance of youth and spiritual wisdom of Indian seers and sages. This unique combination paved the way for nation re-building. Swami successfully removed the sense of self-pity and self-condemnation that had become deep rooted among Indians from centuries of political Nationalsubjugation and rekindled self-confidence in them. He made Indians realize the immense divine powers within and to use them for self-elevation and nation re-building.

The Chief Minister said that Swami Vivekananda placed service to suffering humanity above individual salvation. He asserted that there is no greater religion than service to the poor, the downtrodden and the exploited. This, he asserted, is the true form of Shiva worship. Swami gave the right direction to the youth who were getting cut off from their cultural and spiritual moorings. He exhorted them to become brilliant, vigorous and sagacious.

Chouhan said that Swami Vivekananda was an ardent champion of women’s emancipation. He said that women are epitome of Mahakali or the Supreme Energy. If we fail to uplift them, there is no other way for our own progress. About Dharma Swami Vivekanand said that realizing the inherent divinity is true religion. The Chief Minister said that strongly advocating radical change in education Swami Vivekanand called for an education that enables us to discriminate between good and evil and to think ourselves instead of learning.
