Reportedly, superstar Rajinikanth‘s assets will be auctioned by a private Bank, EXIM. The bank in Chennai released an official notice stating that they are about to auction his properties.
As per news, Rajinikanth’s wife Latha had failed in repaying the loan of Rs 22 crores within the given time period by the bank.
As per Bank rules, they are liable to auction the assets of the person if can’t pay the loan.

Rajinikanth is a super actor and a cultural icon. His best role for Shivaji is still well known. After erning 26 crores in 2007 for the movie Shivaji he became highest paid actor in Asia after Jackie Chan.
According to Exim Bank, she failed to repay the amount due within the stipulated period on being called upon to pay, and the bank has taken possession of the land measuring around two acres in Kanchipuram district provided as security for the loan.
The Exim Bank has also cautioned Latha Rajnikanth and the general public against dealing with the property.
Mediaone Global produced animation movie "Kochadaiyaan" directed by Soundarya Rajnikanth, daughter of Latha and Rajnikanth.
Meanwhile in a statement issued here Mediaone Global said the company is in the process of clearing the loan on or before March 31, 2015.
