Gift of one more medical college to state

CM to lay foundation stone at Shahdol on September 13

As per announcement of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the State Government is opening a new medical college at Shahdol. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan will lay its foundation stone on September 13.

About 30.77 hectare land has been selected in village Kotma and Chanpa for construction of the medical college. Its cost will be Rs. 400 crore. The college will have 150 seats. Apart from doctors, nurses paramedical and other staff will be posted at the hospital attached to the medical college. Patients of all districts of Shahdol division including Shahdol, Umaria and Anuppur as well other adjoining districts will benefit from setting up of the medical college and hospital attached to it.
