CM gives Rs 126 crore gifts to Datia district

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan gave gifts worth Rs. 126 crore 24 lakh on Tuesday. The Chief Minister reached Datia late last night and laid foundation stones for development works. He gave a patient hearing to people’s problems till late night. Public Health & Family Welfare Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra and other public representatives were present on the occasion.

The works for which the Chief Minister laid foundation stones included Rs. 69 crore 50 lakh Udganwa group water supply scheme of Public Health & Engineering Department and 10 works costing over Rs. one crore under drinking water scheme. He also inaugurated 3 driking water schemes costing Rs. 64 lakh.


The Chief Minister laid foundation stone for Rs. 3 crore 46 lakh ITI building and 4 works costing Rs. 25 crore 52 lakh under Rajkeeya Marg Yojana. He also laid foundation stones for buildings of 4 high schools costing Rs. one crore 37 lakh. Shri Chouhan inaugurated record room of Land Records Department costing Rs. 25 lakh, rooms costing Rs. 2 crore 55 lakh, panchayat building costing Rs. 2 crore 85 lkah and roads under Mukhyamantri Gram Sadak Yojana. He also laid foundation stone for roads costing Rs. 2 crore 42 lakh under Mukhyamantri Gram Sadak Yojana.

Under Bundelkhand Project, inaugurated building of Basai Krishi Upaj Mandi costing Rs. 7 crore 40 lakh and Undrawan Krishi Upaj Mandi costing Rs. 7 crore 80 lakh.
On the second day of his Datia visit today, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan along with his wife Smt. Sadhna Singh performed pooja at Pitambara Shaktipeeth in the morning.
