For the construction works in 7 degree colleges, Rs 2 crore 46 thousand has been sanctioned by Higher Education Department. Instructions have been given to complete the sanctioned work within time-limit. Rs 68 lakh 34 thousand has been sanctioned for room building in Government Degree College Maxi, district Shajapur, Rs 47 lakh 75 thousand to Paraswara in district Balaghat for 5 extra classrooms, Rs 46 lakh 88 thousand to Girls Post Graduate College Sagar for constructing common room and first floor, Rs 29 lakh 7 thousand to Arts & Commerce Degree College Jabalpur for constructing hall, Rs 8 lakh 18 thousand to Bara district Sagar for constructing cycle-stand and library counter, Rs 5 lakh 51 thousand to Barghat in district Seoni for hall & staff-room and Rs 3 lakh 75 thousand has been sanctioned to Shyam Narayan Mushran Women's Degree College Narsinghpur for electric fitting.
