Energy Minister Shri Shukla launches Pulse Polio Campaign
Energy and Public Relations Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla has said that Rewa’s Kushabhau Thakre district hospital will be equipped with state-of-art treatment facilities. Shri Shukla launched Pulse Polio Campaign at Rewa district hospital today. Rewa Mayor Shri Shivendra Singh was also present on the occasion.
The Energy Minister said that premises of district hospital will be developed at a cost of Rs. 5.25 crore. Trauma centre will be constructed at a cost of Rs. 4 crore. Rs. 50 lakh will be spent on construction of NCR Centre and Rs. 25 lakh on cold chain centre. Shri Shukla said that there will be no shortage of paramedical staff in the hospital. Operators will be available in adequate number to operate various treatment machines. He informed that Rs. 4 crore has been spent on construction of maternity care centre.
Public Relations Minister Shri Shukla administered polio drops to under-5 year children. Doses will be administered to over 3 lakh children in the district during 3 days. For this, 2180 polio booths have been set up in the district and 2578 teams have been formed for its successful implementation.
