Appointments of disabled persons after Medical Board certification

Letters for appointment of disabled persons on various posts will be issued only after medical examination certificates issued by district-level Medical Board constituted for this purpose. The General Administration Department has apprised all Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries, departments, divisional commissioners, heads of departments, collector and Zila Panchayat CEOs about this. At a meeting of state-level Coordination Committee, it has been decided that district level Medical Boards will ensure whether disabled candidates selected for posts reserved for them through PEB, Public Service Commission or through other means are really disabled or not by subjecting them to physical examination. The General Administration Department had given such instructions earlier also.
