Home and Jail Minister Shri Babulal Gaur has directed officers to prescribe parking places for trucks while waiting to enter city. The trucks should not be parked on roadsides. Shri Gaur was holding discussions with officers at meeting convened at his residence to solve various problems and review progress of construction works in Bhopal city today. Mayor Smt. Krishna Gaur, municipal corporation Chairman Shri Kailash Mishra, Commissioner Bhopal division Shri S.B. Singh, DIG Shri D. Shrinivas Verma, Commissioner Town & Country Planning Shri Gulshan Bamra, Collector Shri Nishant Warwade, municipal corporation Commissioner Shri Vishesh Garhpale and other officers were present on the occasion.
Minister Shri Gaur said that due to no-entry from 6 am to 11 pm, trucks from Hoshangabad, Sehore and Raisen are parked on the roadside to wait for entry into city. This creates hurdles in traffic. These trucks also become cause of accidents. These should be prevented from being parked on roadsides and parking places for them should be prescribed.
Regarding construction and development works being undertaken by Capital Project, BHEL administration, BDA etc, Minister Shri Gaur said that a time-bound action plan should be chalked out to complete these works.
Minister Shri Gaur directed officers of BHEL administration to accelerate pace of improving roads, construction of toilets, auto stand, hawkers’ corners their area. BHEL administration officers informed that tenders for most the works have been floated and works will be stated soon.
Minister Shri Gaur directed to get NOC from Railways for construction of approach road to coach factory at village Karariya with intimation to him. He will also contact the Railway Ministry in this regard. At the meeting, directives were also given to municipal corporation to remove encroachments etc.
