Road Safety Week

Home and Jail Minister Shri Babulal Gaur flagged off a rally of two-wheelers from DB Mall near Board Office Crossing on the first day of Road Safety Week here today. The rally was organised to motivate two-wheeler riders to wear helmet. IG Traffic Shri D.C. Sagar, DIG Shri Shrinivas Verma, other officers of traffic police and citizens were present on the occasion.

Before flagging off the rally, Shri Gaur held discussions with people and media and urged them to extend cooperation in holding programmes during Road Safety Week for disseminating information about cautions to be exercised while travelling on roads. The rally concluded at Lal Parade Ground after vending through various thoroughfares.
