Happiness and joy mark Republic Day celebrations in state

Happiness and joy marked Republic Day celebrations throughout the state today. Dignified functions were held at district headquarters where chief guests hoisted the National Flag, Chief Minister’s message was read out and salute of parade taken. The function was marked by attractive march past, tableaux and colourful cultural programmes by school children.

The state-level main function was held at Lal Parade Ground, Bhopal. Governor Shri Ram Naresh Yadav took salute of parade after unfurling National Flag. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan unfurled the flag at Vidisha district headquarters.
