Ensure regular attendance of teachers

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has directed to ensure regular attendance of teachers in schools. Caste certificates should be provided to students in school itself. Shri Chouhan was reviewing 100-day action plan of School Education Department here today.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that top priority should be attached to construction of toilets in high and higher secondary schools. Lack of labs in schools should be ended. An action plan to this effect should be presented at the earliest. He stressed the need to evolve a process to examine teaching quality from class one to VII.

School Education Minister Shri Paras Chandra Jain presented the 100-day action plan at the meeting. It was informed that efforts are underway for better monitoring of schools and to ensure strengthening of assessment system. First phase of Pratibha Parv will be held on January 10, 2014 and second in March 2014. It was also informed that answer sheets of class V and VIII exams will be examined through teachers of other schools in March.
