On the directives of Election Commission of India, re-polling will be conducted at 6 polling booths in Vidhan Sabha constituencies on December 2.
The polling booths where re-polling will be held include polling booth number 14-Bahrara at Vidhan Sabha constituency number 05-Sumawali in Morena district, booth number 182-Chaurai and booth number 189-Ikmili at Vidhan Sabha constituency number 11-Lahar in Bhind district. Re-polling will also be held at booth number 151-Baikunthpur at Vidhan Sabha constituency number 68-Sirmaur in Rewa district, booth number 145-Barauda at constituency number 101-Panagar in Jabalpur district and polling booth number 100-Ujjain Dushehra Maidan at Vidhan Sabha constituency number 217-Ujjain South in Ujjain district.
On the day of re-polling, public holiday will be declared in concerning areas. Holiday has also been declared for workers in the concerning areas on the day of re-polling. Strict security arrangements have also been made at polling booths. Liquor shops in the concerning areas will also remain closed due to re-polling on December 2.
