Good Governance Day on December 24

Officers-employees to take pledge to set highest standards

Good Governance Day will be observed throughout the state on December 24, a day before birthday of former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. On the day, all heads of departments will administer pledge to officers-employees to set highest standards of good governance.

On December 24, functions will be held in every district at an auditorium or some other suitable place where speakers will pay respect to former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee while throwing light on his life and important works done by him for the country. Directives have been given to invite all prominent public representatives of district, office-bearers and government officers to these functions.
