CHIEF SECRETARY CONCLUDES I.A.S. SERVICE MEET

The three-day annual service meet organized by Madhya Pradesh IAS Association concluded here today. The Chief Secretary Shri Anthony de Sa gave away the prices to the winners of the events organized during the meet. The meet was inaugurated by the Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan on December 20. State Election Commissioner Shri R. Parashuram was also present at the concluding function at Arera Club in Tulsi Nagar.

The Chief Secretary Shri de Sa described as laudable saying that the extension of its activities have promoted social welfare works. He complemented the Association’s office bearers for this.

The Chief Secretary gave away prizes to the members and their families. The Association’s president, Additional Chief Secretary Smt. Aruna Sharma welcomed the Chief Secretary by presenting him a bouquet. Association’s Vice President Shri Ashok Varnawal informed that as many as 23 sport, cultural and water sports activities were organized during the meet. Participants ranging from 5 to 75 years of age took part in boat race, aero modeling show, cycle race, singing and cultural events very enthusiastically. This year Shri S.K. Pal and Smt. Renu Tiwari made special contribution in success of the meet. The Chief Secretary was presented a memento on the occasion. Shri Hariranjan Rao conducted the function. Secretary Shri Sanjay Goyal and other office bearers of the Association were present on the occasion.
