BLO dies while distributing voter slips

Booth level officer and timekeeper of Water Resources Department Shri Narayan Singh Thakur died while distributing voter slips in Gotegaon Vidhan Sabha constituency in Narsinghpur district. On suffering brain hemorrhage, he was rushed to Jabalpur where he died. As per directives of Election ommission of India, Rs. 5 lakh ex-gratia amount is being sanctioned to next of the kin of Shri Thakur.
