73 candidates file nomination papers on Nov. 4

As many as 73 candidates filed nomination papers for Vidhan Sabha election in the state today. On the first day November 1, a total of 35 nomination papers were filed and 33 on November 2. After filing of nomination papers filed today, the tally of nomination papers filed so far has gone up to 141.

Today, candidates filed nomination papers in 31 districts including Rajgarh and Vidisha 6 each, Chhindwara 5, Bhind, Raisen, Sehore and Khargone 4 each, Chhatarpur, Satna, Hoshangabad, Alirajpur and Ujjain 3 each, Rewa, Morena, Balaghat, Bhopal, Jhabua and Neemuch 2 each and one nomination paper each was filed in Sheopur, Tikamgarh, Damoh, Panna, Singrauli, Jabalpur, Seoni, Barwani, Dhar, Datia, Shivpuri, Guna and Sagar. Of the candidates who have filed their nomination papers today, 65 were male and 8 female.
