Governor pays tributes to ex-PM late Smt. Indira Gandhi

Governor Shri Ram Naresh Yadav has paid tributes to former Prime Minister late Smt. Indira Gandhi on her death anniversary today.

Governor Shri Yadav said that builder of modern India and first woman Prime Minister of the country Smt. Gandhi was called Priyadarshini due to her popularity. Shri Yadav said that she was a great leader of the country. She laid down her life to ensure India’s unity and integrity.

Governor Shri Yadav said that Smt. Gandhi untiredly worked to ensure communal harmony. Smt. Gandhi was the biggest well wisher of farmers. Green and White Revolutions are credited to her. Late Smt. Gandhi gave new dimension to the country and made efforts to take it on the path of progress. She had great faith in spiritualism.
