Governor condoles playback singer Manna Dey’s death

Governor Shri Ram Naresh Yadav has expressed profound grief over the death of famous playback singer Shri Manna Dey.

In his condolence message, Governor Shri Yadav said that Padma Bhushan and Dada Saheb Phalke awardee late Shri Manna Dey’s death has caused an irreparable loss to film and music worlds. His soulful sonorous voice will continue to enchant listeners. Shri Yadav said that patriotic songs sung by him have been kindling spirit of nationalism among the masses.

The Governor has prayed to Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to bereaved family to bear this loss.
