90 complaints of model code of conduct violation received so far

As many as 90 complaints of violation of model code of conduct since its enforcement in Madhya Pradesh have been received by the office of the Chief Electoral Officer. Of these, maximum 10 complaints have been received from Bhopal, Harda 8, Gwalior 7, Chhindwara 6, Seoni and Mandsaur 5 each, Indore and Katni 4 each, Ratlam, Guna, Datia, Rewa and Dhar 3 each, Narsinghpur, Ujjain, Khargone, Dewas, Sagar, Dindori, Shahdol and Bhind 2 each and one complaint each has been received from Vidisha, Jabalpur, Panna, Damoh, Satna, Sheopur, Shivpuri, Neemuch, Mandla and Sidhi. Office of the Chief Electoral Officer has ensured necessary action on all these complaints. FIRs have also been registered in a number of cases.
