State to become education hub

Higher Education Minister Shri Sharma inaugurates Majhgawan College

Madhya Pradesh will become hub of higher education and technical education. This was stated by Higher Education and Technical Education Minister Shri Laxmikant Sharma while inaugurating government post-graduate college at Majhgawan in Satna district today. Shri Sharma said that Rs. 3 crore will be sanctioned for the college building.

The Technical Education Minister said that a polytechnic college will also be opened at Majhgawan from next academic session. He said that from next academic session, commerce and science faculties will also be opened in the new college. Shri Sharma said that over 90 colleges have been opened in state’s remote areas. As many as 12 universities have also been opened in the state. The Higher Education Minister said that there used to be one primary school on every 8-10 villages in year 1993. But now efforts are being made to open a college there.

ITI inaugurated at Birsinghpur

Technical Education Minister Shri Laxmikant Sharma inaugurated a new ITI at Birsinghpur in Satna district today. He announced to name it after late Motilal Agrawal. Shri Sharma said that a new government college will be opened at Birsinghpur from next academic session. MLA Shri Surendra Singh Gaharwar also spoke on the occasion.
