Residential land patta

3.32 lakh rural families get legal rights on land

State government is providing land rights to rural families who do have houses in villages but without any legal existence. So far, 3 lakh 32 thousand 3939 such families have been given residential land pattas under the scheme launched for such families since year 2010.

Revenue Minister Shri Karan Singh Verma informed that patta for 30X30 land is provided to families living in rural areas under the scheme. With securing legal existence of land, these families become eligible to secure bank loans through which they can reconstruct their houses. Maximum 32 thousand residential land pattas have been provided in Gwalior district including 17 thousand 97 in Gwalior, 5,938 in Dabra, 6,930 in Bhitarwar and 2,758 in Chinor.

Similarly, 23 thousand 27 residential land pattas have been distributed in Guna district, 22 thousand 88 in Sehore, 18 thousand 910 in Umaria, 17 thousand 988 in Jabalpur, 17 thousand 117 in Sagar, 15 thousand 779 in Balaghat, 14 thousand 821 in Indore, 14 thousand 11 in Dewas, 13 thousand 742 in Khargone, 10 thousand 386 in Satna, 10 thousand 163 in Tikamgarh, 9,705 in Panna, 8,727 in Ujjain, 7,294 in Chhatarpur, 7,378 in Raisen, 7,146 in Vidisha, 6,530 in Damoh, 6,484 in Mandsaur, 6,269 in Shivpuri, 6,294 in Neemuch, 5,818 in Bhopal, 5,541 in Dhar, 5,176 in Khandwa, 4,496 in Rajgarh, 4,209 in Seoni, 3,268 in Datia, 3,599 in Sheopur, 3,453 in Dindori, 3,472 in Hoshangabad, 3,645 in Rewa and 3,268 pattas have been distributed in Sidhi district. Similarly, residential land pattas have also been distributed so far including 2,756 in Mandla, Shahdol 2,635, Singrauli 2,483, Ratlam 2,211, Jhabua 620, Harda 306, Morena 287 and 160 residential land pattas have been distributed in Alirajpur district.
