Jail Minister gives 15 days’ special remission to prisoners of Indore Central Jail

Minister Shri Arya goes round Indore Central Jail

Jail Minister Shri Antar Singh Arya went round Indore Central Jail today and addressed prisoners. On the occasion, he announced 15 days’ special remission to all eligible prisoners of the jail. He inaugurated second phase of prisoners’ employment-oriented training programme.

During inspection, Shri Arya said that prisoners should ponder over positively the reasons due to which they hade to suffer imprisonment and prepare for future life in such a way that society remembers good works done by them. Shri Arya said that a person might commit a mistake due to emotional outburst, but he can rectify through repenting.

Jail Minister Shri Arya also held a meeting of jail officers after inspection. He also inspected enterprises and culinary works being undertaken in the central jail. At Jail Hospital, he enquired about health of prisoners admitted there. Earlier, the Jail Minister inspected a parade by prisoners, Bhagoria dance and other cultural programmes presented by them.
