6-months-old Shivani to be treated

CM Shri Chouhan sends for special treatment to Indore

Family of labourer Kashiram Raikwar of village Badagaon in Tikamgarh district is now hopeful that their 6-months-old daughter Shivani will recover fully after special treatment.

Kashiram along with younger brother Vijay Raikwar had reached to welcome the Chief Minister at Badagaon. During the welcome, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan saw the girl child in the arms of Kashiram. The Chief Minister called Kashiram near him. Kashriram told the Chief Minister that the head of the 6-months-old girl is extraordinarily large. Since birth, there is big tumour in her head. Kashiram informed that he sustains his family by working as a labourer. He is unable to meet expenses on the daughter’s treatment. The Chief Minister said that government exists for helping the poor. Immediately, he directed the collector to send the girl for treatment to whichever hospital where her treatment is possible without delay and caring for expenses of treatment since life of the girl is precious.

The Tikamgarh Collector talked to Bombay Hospital of Indore, made necessary arrangements for treatment there and sent Kashiram and the girl to Indore by special vehicle after completing necessary formalities at district hospital. Now, Kashiram has left for Indore with renewed hopes.
