Participate in I-Day National Festival Function

Chief Secretary sends circular

Chief Secretary Shri R. Parasuram has expected participation of every section of government staff at Independence Day functions on August 15. In a circular to all Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries and heads of departments, the Chief Secretary said that enthusiastic participation of all citizens and government staff is expected in functions marking national festivals, Independence Day and Republic Day. In this regard, the State Government has reminded all government officers and employees that participation in these national festivals is among their official duties.

The Chief Secretary has expected that all officers and employees will enthusiastically participate in Independence Day functions. The Chief Secretary has also expected from senior officers to direct and motivate their subordinate staff to participate in the function.
