CM Shri Chouhan meets injured people of Satna truck mishap

Directs to provide Rs. 2 lakh assistance each to kin of 6 deceased

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan met people injured and relatives of those killed in a truck accident and consoled them at Satna today. Soon after reaching Satna, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan drove directly to Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel District Hospital. He met the injured in the special ward set up for them

and directed to provide best treatment on government expenses to them.

Later, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan visited houses of those killed in the accident. At the residence of late Rameshwar Mishra, he consoled the bereaved family saying that the State Government stands by them in this hour of sorrow. He reached late Umesh Choudhary’s residence at Bardadeeh, garlanded his photograph, presented assistance worth Rs. 1 lakh to his wife wife Mithila Choudhary and assured to provide Rs. 1 lakh more soon. The Chief Minister directed to arrange permanent livelihood and residence for deceased Umesh Choudhary’s wife Mithila Choudhary.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan consoled family of late Rajkumar Agrawal at Dalibaba. He directed for free education of late Shri Agrawal’s 3 issues Pankaj, Pooja and Poonam till class XII. He also directed to provide anganwadi job or any other permanent livelihood to deceased’s wife Smt. Jyoti Agrawal. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also visited residence of late Raja Choudhary and paid tributes to him by garlanding his photograph. The Chief Minister also directed to arrange residence for Raja Choudhary’s brother.

During meeting with the injured at the district hospital, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan enquired about their health. He directed to provide new rickshaw to Babulal Rawal of Badkhura, BPL ration card to Arun Pandey and BPL facilities and sanctioning of more relief amount to Smt. Phuljhariya. An injured Shah Alam informed that he had helped in nabbing driver of the errant truck. The Chief Minister lauded his braveness and directed to reward him.

Energy & Mineral Resources Development Minister and in-charge of district Shri Rajendra Shukla, MP Shri Ganesh Singh, Zila Panchayat Chairman Shri Gaganendra Singh, Mayor Shri Pushkar Singh Tomar, MLAs Shri Shankarlal Tiwari, Shri Motilal Tiwari, Shri Ramkhelawan Patel, Shri Jugalkishore Bagri and Shri Surendra Singh Gaharwar and other public representatives were present on the occasion.
