44 SC and 56 ST students to get research scholarship during 2013-14

The State Government will give research scholarship of PhD to 44 SC and 56 ST students during year 2013-14. It has invited applications for them till October 31.

Of these, 15 SC students each and 19 ST students each will be given research scholarships in Science and Commerce faculties whereas 14 SC and 18 ST students in Arts Faculty will be sanctioned scholarship for PhD. Income of students’ family should not exceed Rs. 3 lakh per annum. Selected candidates will be provided Rs. 16 thousand per month scholarship each. Researchers will be selected on the basis of merit list at post-graduate level.
