The State Government will give Rs 10 lakh each to the families of the soldiers killed during the rescue operation at Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan informed this at a review meeting regarding Uttarakhand natural disaster. Two Boeing aircrafts with state’s pilgrims will reach Bhopal today and one aircraft will reach tomorrow.

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the state government is providing all possible help to the pilgrims in Uttarakhand. He appealed to the people to give information of the missing persons to the Tehsil office or near by police station. Today also Shri Chouhan took stock of the latest situation and arrangements made for the pilgrims in Uttarakhand from Religious Trusts and Endowment Minister Shri Laxmikant Sharma over telephone. It was informed that about 80 pilgrims will reach Haridwar through trecking road. The officers and employees of the State have decided to donate one day salary to the Uttarakhand Relief Fund. Chief Secretary Shri R. Parasuram, DG Homeguard Shri R.K. Shukla, ADG Shri Vivek Jauhri, PS to CM Shri Manoj Shrivastava and Secretary Shri S.K. Mishra were present at the meeting.
