Tribal Museum to be inaugurated next month

Culture Minister reviews preparations for President’s visit

Bhopal.

Higher Education and Culture Minister Shri Laxmikant Sharma reviewed preparations for President’s proposed Madhya Pradesh visit, at a high-level meeting at Mantralaya here today. The President will inaugurate Tribal Museum and lay foundation stone for Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi Vishwavidyalaya at Bhopal next month.

Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Principal Secretary Higher Education, Principal Secretary Culture and senior officers of Higher Education and Public Relations departments and district administration were present on the occasion. At the meeting, vice-chancellor of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi Vishwavidyalaya Shri Mohanlal Chheepa informed about the preparations.

Inspection of Tribal Museum

Culture Minister Shri Sharma went round Tribal Museum at Shyamala Hills here this evening. The President will inaugurate the museum next month. The Culture Minister said that the museum constructed by Madhya Pradesh government will vividly showcase tribal culture and life.

Hindi Vishwavidyalaya

Shri Laxmikant Sharma also went round proposed premises of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi Vishwavidyalaya. Land for the university has been allotted near village Mungawali Kot in the vicinity of Sukhi Sewani on Sanchi Road. The President will lay foundation stone for the university at this site. During his visit, Minister Shri Sharma was accompanied by Principal Secretary Higher Education and senior officers of the district administration.
