Gulshan Grover double role in “Baat Bann Gayi”
“Baat Bann Gayi” is a Romantic comedy and it is our take of William Shakespeare’s classic “Comedy of Errors”, but unlike the original storyline, the look-alike characters our film are not related with each other and have no connection in between. They are neither separated at birth, nor lost in some Village fair etc.

In our film Gulshan Grover is playing a double role for the first time in his entire career and out of the two characters he is playing, one is a gay, which is another first in his life.

Our protagonist is Ali Fazal, (3 Ediots & Always Kabhi Kabhi fame) and we have Anisa opposite him who was earlier seen playing Kalki’s sister in “Zindagi NA Milegi Dobara”. In addition we have Amrita Raichand, Razak Khan, Akshay Singh, Ishtiyaq Khan etc playing important roles.

The film is unique in many aspects like it’s the first ever Hindi Feature film to be shot on 2-Purf technology using Kodak stock. The film has only 2 girls and our story line revolves around 11 actors who are playing total 13 characters in this hilariously fun-filled comic film.

We have created a nice musical bouquet by putting 5 melodious songs in the film. One romantic number is shot in Singapore and has been picturised on our lead couple, Anisa and Ali Fazal. The lead couple will also be seen in a dance number and in a Item number as well. We have shot most of the film at various locations of Mumbai barring a romantic song and few scenes that were shot at Singapore.
