Maharashtra’s women completed their league engagements on a winning note to set up a title clash with Delhi who shocked last year’s runners-up Madhya Pradesh, in the 27th Senior National Baseball Championship, at the Guru Govind Singh District Sports Complex, Nanded on Thursday.

The host state overcame Haryana 7-5, while Delhi upset MP 3-2 in thrilling concluding league ties. 

Maharashtra’s men beat Chattisgarh 12-1 in their concluding league tie to qualify for a semi-final clash with Haryana, while Delhi set up the other semi-final against Madhya Pradesh.

Results: Men: Mah bt Chattisgarh 12-1; Delhi bt Gujarat 20-0; Haryana bt Uttarakhand 17-0; Bihar bt Rajasthan 20-0;

Women: Mah bt Haryana 7-5; MP bt Gujarat 11-0; Mah bt Bihar 14-0; Delhi bt MP 3-2.
