Clara’s College and Children Welfare centre High School one of the elite schools in the city came forward to uplift the status of the Women and Children in our society through campaign “Mission Naari Sammaan”. Social agenda performed in the form of safety awareness program was organized by the Clara’s College and Children Welfare centre High School, today at the school campus.
A very popular and an eminent actor Abhay Deol was prominently a part of the program, where he gracefully honored the dais by launching the campaign followed by an Oath ceremony. The objective of the program was to create awareness among females about their legal rights through the medium of Fliers and Handbills”.
Throwing some light on the increasing rate of crime among women and children, actor Abhay Deol, articulated, “I am really glad to be the part of this program, which gives us a feeling to be sensitive towards society and its vulnerable section (Women and children). I personally feel that every school and college should come up with such programs that are devised with a goal to increase the sensitivity towards the protection of women and child from sexual abuse and spreading awareness for the same”.
A clear picture of spreading awareness towards the crime happening was presented through an Audio-Visual presentation in the form of play ‘Daamini ki Pukaar’ which passed its message to the People that they should show sensitivity by helping a victim at the time of crisis.
On the occasion of the program, Ajay Kaul, Principal, Clara’s College and Children Welfare centre High School, asserted, The Government should implement effective measures that can genuinely be helpful, if the victim is seeking for help. Through this program our main goal is to reach out the masses which can make every section of society realize its responsibility towards such cases”.
