Private teachers will lose their service if they involve in tuition

The private school teachers will also not take tuition classes and if they do so then they can be removed from their services under section 28 of RTE Act-2009.

The school managements will have to take action against such teachers otherwise the school education department will cancel their recognition.

There is provision in the guideline of Rajya Shiksha Kendra which has been issued recently. Directives have been given to send this information to the schools.

The school education department has taken this decision after receiving complaints about the private school teachers running in the state.

The department has been receiving complaints that the private school teachers make the students fail who do not go to tuition classes. The department has prepared guideline in October 2012.

It was told in the guideline that the schools will have to develop self system to solve problems of private teachers. The teachers are asked to teach up to 45 hours in a week and to check physical and mental torture with the students. If it will not be followed then action will be taken under section 17 of RTE Act.
