Encroachment not removed even after complaint

The encroachment of local residents has become a hurdle in construction of drainage construction in Tilak ward from Jai Stambh to Gandhi Chowk Road.

A resident Rajendra Bhargava had complaint to remove encroachment but even after it the officials are not removing encroachments in the area.

According to sources, some jewellers have made encroachments on Jaistambh chowk road where drainage construction work has been started recently.

But the shopkeepers have not removed their encroachments so far.

Complainant Rajendra Bhargava said that the municipality is constructing drainage with the cost of Rs2.23lakh but because of encroachments the construction work has been stopped.

Bhargava said that a complaint was given to municipal officials but they could not remove it. The officials are not taking interest in removing encroachment.
