A memorandum under the auspices of Atal Sena, Betul was handed over to collector B Chandrashekhar on Tuesday.
Rajendra Singh Kendu Baba mentioned in the memorandum about the demands including closure of Lok Seva Kendra and the applications should be taken by the related departments. He said that if the services are provided free of cost then what is the need of lok seva Kendra.
The officials at Lok Seva Kendra take charges for providing services.
He said that the forms of Ladli Laxmi Yojna are deposited through Anganwadi activist but the applicants are charged at Lok Seva Kendra for this service.
It was mentioned in the memorandum that earlier certificates of disabled were issued free of cost easily but the physically challenged persons have to pay charges at Lok Seva Kendra.
It was demanded in memorandum the scheduled caste community persons have been living for years behind FCI godown in Patel ward but railway issued notice to vacate this place. The activists demanded that the residents should be provided place to these persons again at earlier place in Khakra Jamthi.
Sunita Rathore, Sohan Rathore, Bhupendra Rathore, Bunty Dhurvey, Manju Upase, Prabhulal Pawar, Santosh Sahu, Asha Baraskar, Bhawana Thakur, Jyoti Jawalkar, Neelu Malviya, Kalpana Arya, Alpana Taiwade, Sofia Sheikh, Santosh Sahu, Kailash Chouhan and others were present on the occasion.
