The
residents of Peepaldhana and Imlidhoh villages have not been given
ration from fair price shop of the area for last three months. They
complained several times about the irregularities but no action was
taken so far.
The
villagers including Maan Singh, Jaddu, Bhagat Singh, Santlal, Ramsingh,
Sumrat, Mohan, Shivprasad, Pawan, Ramsu, Kadaklal, Ramji and others
belonging to Peepaldhana and Imlidhoh alleged that they are not getting
benefit of BPL cards because of the irregularities of fair price shop
owner.
The
villagers said that salesman Ramlal has not distributed food grain to
them for last three months. They were also not distributed kerosene from
November as a result they have to face darkness during nights because
of non availability of kerosene.
The
villagers said that there are 127 APL, BPL, SY and ASY ration card
holders in these tribal villages. According to the villagers, the APL
card holders are given 8kg ration, BPL card holders are given 20kg
ration, SY card holders are given 35kg food grains during a month and
400 litre is allotted for Peepaldhana and Imlidhoh villages but it was
not distributed for three months.
After
getting complaint of the villagers, collector B Chandrashekhar assured
to take action and DFO Champavat has also assured to improve the system
immediately.
Bheempur
cooperative store assistant manager Narendra Arya said, “Salesman
Premlal has not lifted kerosene for last three months and also not
deposited old cheques. The villagers have demanded that they should be
provided ration and kerosene immediately.”
