Unidentified thieves attack a house, set ablaze

JABALPUR.

Some unidentified thieves attacking a house of a Christian family at Sharda colony on Christmas day stole jewellery and later set it ablazed on Tuesday.

The family members had gone to attend prayer at church when they saw smoke coming out from their house they got stunned. Police and fire brigade reached the spot receiving information about incident but all the house hold items had got burnt.

Investigation officer Sub inspector BD Dwivedi said it was the first time in his entire service when the thieves stole goods and set ablaze the house. 

According to sources, Anthony a general manager of Indian Coffee House lives at Sharda colony near Sainik Society. He along with his family had gone to offer prayer at Bhanwartal church at night.

When Anthony returned with his family at around 2am they saw 
smoke from back side of
the house. 
He immediately informed the police and fire brigade but it was too 
late because entire house hold was turned to ashes.

Police have registered a case against the unidentified thieves and started investigation.
