The members said that irregularities are being adopted in water shed programme but work is not being done. Physical verification of work should be done about construction work but its information was not given in the meeting. No work was done for last three years, wells are disappeared and who will see such programmes.
It was told in the Zila Panchayat meeting that Rs30crore spent in one year under MNREGA. The members said that ground level works are standstill and crores of rupees were misappropriated.
The members during convention said that the construction work of village panchayat buildings should be given priority. It was told that 146 buildings will be constructed.
Panchayat department officer said that approval of 50 panchayat buildings has been given.
18 construction works have been completed. 21 proposals were given for construction of primary and middle school buildings against which 9 proposals have been approved. Presiding officer and Zila Panchayat CEO Deepak Saxena accepted that all the members are worried about the quality of construction work under RES.
Complaints were registered about the poor construction work under HVDS Yojna.
Zila Panchayat chairman Devkunwar Parihar, vice chairman Lakhan Singh Patel, MP representative Vibhash Jain, Chanwarpatha Janpad chairman Pradeep Raghuvanshi, Zila Panchayat member Shivendra Ripudaman Singh etc were present in the meeting.
