Mandi elections on full swing

The politicians are keenly observing the development in ward number 2 during mandi elections as it is being considered one of the most prestigious ward among all the ten wards. It has become a place of prestige for Barodia Naunagiri Mandi these days.

There is going to be a triangular contest in this ward from where the candidate Rajbai, wife of Prem Singh Thakur from Bagthari is the busiest candidate in the campaigning in ward.

Rajbai is receiving massive support from Sumer Singh, Roop Singh and Mulayam Singh of Bagthari. Urmila Laxman Chandel and wife of Santosh Patel are being believed to be her arch rivals. Santosh Patel was a defeated candidate in mandi elections earlier.

There are 10 candidates in the fray in ward number 5 and Pooja Dangi, Soubhagya Singh Thakur and Siyarani Jangbahadur of Binayatha might be tough contestant.
