Police made panchnama on Friday morning and sent the body for postmortem.
According to police, motorcycle rider Rakesh Patel, 32 and pillion rider Radhey Patel were returning to their village from Barela and when they reached at Kosamghat Talaiya driver of a truck MP-20/G/7804 driving the truck rashly and negligently hit their motorcycle. The rider Rakesh Patel and pillion rider Radheylal Patel fell down from motorcycle and sustained critical injuries.
Both the injured were taken to Victoria hospital immediately where the doctors admitted Radheylal Patel.
Radheylal Patel, 40, resident of Jamtara died during treatment at around 11.30pm at Victoria hospital.
